PHOTOSHOP CS3

OH SUP DA.

Alright, for my birthday, I can either get Photoshop CS3, or, for more money (less other presents ;-; ) Photoshop CS3 and Illustrator CS3. Now I want to do digital paintings and stuffs so should I get Illustrator or not? D:

Illustrator is not as much for digital paintings. It's more for designing and vectors and layouts and logos and things. Good to have both though.

I love illustrator, I think it would be good for your style. I suppose I would say that illustrator is great for painting with large shapes and fields of color while photoshop is more stroke based.
